What Is the Christian Learning Center?
The Walton County Christian Learning Center is an accredited, non-profit Christian school that offers released time, Bible-based elective courses to the public school students of Walton County, Ga.
We offer released-time Bible courses for the public school students of Walton County, Ga. This means that any student grades 5-12 are able, with parent or guardian permission, to come off campus and take one of our classes in place of their specials, connections, or elective classes. Our classes promote biblical literacy and a deep understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we seek to provide a family-like atmosphere in our classrooms to provide all of our students the opportunity to be rooted in Christian community.
CLC classes are offered at no cost to the student. Our program is funded by local individuals, businesses, organizations, and churches and receives no funding from the federal, state, or local government.
The Walton County Christian Learning Center is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), a division of Cognia, formerly AdvancED.

History
The Walton County Christian Learning Center was established on February 13, 2001. It was unanimously approved by the Walton County Board of Education. A cross-section of citizens from the Walton County community began in January 2000 to form a steering team to develop a plan to implement Released Time classes for Loganville High School and Monroe Area High School students. Our first classes were held on August 12, 2001. Our enrollment has steadily increased at both the Loganville and Monroe Center as students recommend our courses to their classmates. In Fall 2009, a third center was opened at Walnut Grove High School, and in Fall 2010 the first middle school center was opened at Youth Middle School. Loganville Middle School and Carver Middle School CLC’s followed. In August 2015, the first Elementary School CLC was opened for Loganville Elementary. In Fall 2016, two more Elementary School CLCs were opened at Harmony Elementary and Youth Elementary Schools. During the 2017-2018 School year, CLC classes began at Monroe Elementary and Bay Creek Elementary Schools; in Fall 2018, classes began at Walker Park Elementary and Walnut Grove Elementary Schools. CLC classes began at Atha Road Elementary and Sharon Elementary Schools in the fall of 2019, which means there is now a CLC class offered at every school in Walton County!
